A Family Story
Gold Squad is proudly family-led. Heather’s children, Layla Naji and Taj Naji, each bring their own experience and perspective to the company while sharing the same commitment to dependable, compassionate care.
Layla oversees Human Resources and Operations. Drawing on her healthcare background and training at McGill University, she helps ensure that every caregiver meets Gold Squad’s standards of professionalism, empathy and respect. Layla has worked as a social worker in a CLSC and as a counsellor for people taking vocational studies in healthcare.
Taj leads Business Development and Client Services. His experience with Apple, together with his natural ability to build relationships, helps families feel heard. He is also now a trained pharmaceutical technician, bringing a deeper understanding of medications to Gold Squad.
Together, Heather, Layla and Taj bring a family’s perspective to every relationship—because they understand that caring for a senior means caring for the people who love them, too.

As founder of Gold Squad, she combines dependable leadership with a personal approach and remains actively involved, attentive and accessible to families as their needs change.
